According to the Hollywood Reporter, the potential show, titled 911, is near getting picked up with a straight-to-series order with Fox.

Aside from "Glee", "American Horror Story" and "Scream Queens", Ryan Murphy also helmed the anthology series "American Crime Story" and "Feud" which revolves around the famous rivalry between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford on the set of their movie "What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?" Additional details are being kept under wraps.

Second, according to Deadline, miss Angela Bassett herself, who brought the gravitas and the badass-itas to four seasons of American Horror Story, is set to lead! Allegedly, it'd start with 13 episodes, with a midseason slot.

Murphy and longtime collaborator Brad Falchuck will executive produce the drama, described as an "ER"-style procedural about 911 operators".

911 joins a long list of Murphy series now on TV or in development, including FX's American Crime Story, FEUD and Pose, as well as Fox's still-on-the-bubble Scream Queens.

Fox has yet to officially cancel Murphy and Falchuck's current series at the network, "Scream Queens". The frequent collaborators are also working on new seasons of FX anthologies American Horror Story and American Crime Story and have ongoing drama series Posein the works for the cabler. The network and 20th TV had no comment.

Fox is expected to announce the series order for "911" at its upfront presentation next week in New York, Variety reports.
