Killing Floor 2 is Coming to Xbox One and Xbox One X

Killing Floor 2 will be coming to both Xbox One on August 29 and Xbox One X when the console launches on November 7.

Already available for PC and PS4, Killing Floor 2 pits players against hordes of murderous clones known as Zeds in a bloody battle for survival. The Zed outbreak caused by Horzine's failed experiments has quickly spread with unstoppable momentum, paralyzing the European Union. Another Xbox Exclusive is the new Wasteland armor, which comes in five different styles. Although the series' most popular game mode is its six player survival mode, the title also offers a 12 player versus mode that gives users control of specially modified Zeds to square off against the survivors.

With its release on the Xbox One (and Xbox One X at launch), the Killing Floor 2 will bring some exclusive content, like the Xbox One only weapon, the Freezethrower.

Before you PS4 and PC players start grabbing your torches and pitchforks, it's worth noting that this exclusivity is only for a limited time - though it doesn't say how limited, I imagine we're talking a matter of months to a year tops.

Specifically, it'll include a weapon called the Freezethrower and eight skins for it. The press release also mentions built in support for Microsoft's streaming platform, Mixer.

Apart from 4K support, the system will have increased performance, enhanced textures, and shadow maps and increased shadow-fade-out distance for Killing Floor 2.
