OR receiver Darren Carrington has been dismissed from the team, almost two weeks after he was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The wideout did not play in the 2014 College Football Playoff championship game after failing an NCAA-administered drug test, the Register-Guard reported. Carrington led the Ducks in receiving yards a year ago, catching 43 passes for 606 yards and five touchdowns.

Last season, Carrington caught 43 passes for 606 yards and five touchdowns. While serving the suspension, Carrington was cited by police for an open container violation.

In the fall, Carrington was accused of pushing a man and breaking the man's arm while dressed like the Joker for Halloween.

This incident wasn't the first instance in which Carrington had run afoul of the law.
