However, Anna Paquin came forward with her new claim to fame - the breasts shown were hers. The scene came out behind anchor Sophie Raworth as she delivered sports news about England's cricket team.

The footage quickly went viral and, upon further inspection, it was revealed the clip was a scene from Paquin's TV vampire drama True Blood.

A member of staff was watching an episode of HBO's True Blood in which Paquin stars, in the background of the live broadcast.

35-year-old Paquin found the incident highly entertaining and promptly took to social media to laugh it off. The actress posted a tweet on August 11, after the incident came to her attention, with a link to an article about the mishap written by the Telegraph.

"It's objectively amusing!" she tweeted.

Anna's husband Stephen Moyer, 47, who played Bill Compton in the hit HBO series, also said: "This is unbelievable and making me very happy".

"Now that I know what you guys were talking about this some of the funniest s**t I've seen in a while", she told her 182,000 followers, adding: "Thanks for the giggle!"

Although said BBC employee's blushes have been spared a little, we wonder if they're still going to be in trouble anyway for watching True Blood during office hours?

Seven series of True Blood were broadcast between 2008 and 2014, which focused on supernatural events in the small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana.
