Leggett appears in second preseason game for Jets

Christian Hackenberg got the start over Josh McCown and failed to impress.

Our first great group celebration came from the Lions, after a Marvin Jones Jr. touchdown.

With an even 1-1 preseason record to their credit, the Jets will now be gearing up for the franchise's third game of the offseason, which is slated for Saturday, Aug. 26 against the rival New York Giants. His first drive against the Lions was no different. Playing the entire first half, Hackenberg failed to impress completing just 2 of his 6 passes while fumbling on the first possession, and almost getting intercepted by Glover Quin on the second. "It's one of those things that happens and you have to get up and move on from it".

The offense struggled to do much of anything with him under center.

Bilal Powell led the NY rushing attack with 32 yards on nine carries.

Rudock led an 87-yard drive late in the half but the Lions had settle on Prater's 25-yard field goal with nine seconds left. After five plays, 43-yards, and another Ross Martin field goal (28-yards this time), the Jets cut the Lions lead to 13-6. The Lions and the Jets then went back-and-forth forcing the other team to punt the ball. Prater came out and nailed a 50-yard field goal to essentially seal the win for Detroit and increase the score to 16-6. Josh has played in a million preseason games.
