Overwatch Animated Short Released By Blizzard

Diablo 3 just received a new piece of DLC as well, so we might not see much from that game. The developer featured games like "Heroes of the Storm", "Hearthstone", "World of Warcraft", and "Overwatch". The team-based shooter has attracted over 30 million players and has given fans constant free updates, including new maps and heroes. Perhaps it's the high level of quality; perhaps it's the way that the characters seem to come alive outside the game. I think it's time for Blizzard to expand its animation division and give us a steady stream of animated shows and films for all of its properties.

"Rise and Shine" explores the origin story of Mei in a lovely tale of friendship and determination. However, when Mei wakes up, she realizes that the technology malfunctioned and that she was out cold for nine years. Just a bit ago, the publisher released a second animated short, this time for Overwatch's Mei. After coming to grips with her group's fate, she gathers the courage to find out what happened. She also finds her modes of transport frozen over, forcing her to figure out what to do next. It was also revealed that their leader, Captain Opara, scheduled the team to "hibernate" in the "Cryo Chamber" while they wait out the storm. The nearly 10-minute-long video gives fans a deeper look into the backstory of Mei, who was cryogenically frozen for years while doing research in Antarctica, before rejoining the Overwatch organization in the present day.
