It was odd: Ford on Fisher revealing their affair

Asked how unusual it was when Carrie released her book, he said: "It was odd". Heath says: "There are conversations Harrison Ford doesn't care so much about having. It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend", Fisher told People magazine in line with the promotion of her book, "The Princess Diarist", in November previous year.

Fisher, 60, died suddenly in December 2016 after suffering a heart attack on a flight to Los Angeles just as she was enjoying a career revival with the re-invigorated "Star Wars" movie franchise that reunited her with Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".

The actor didn't want to get into specifics, he said.

To recall, it was in November past year, just a month prior to her shocking death, when Fisher revealed in an interview that she and Ford actually had an affair while filming their first "Star Wars" movie in 1976.

The late actress - who passed away in December a year ago at the age of 60 - made a shocking revelation a month prior to her death when her memoir, The Princess Diarist, detailed the "intense" affair she had with her Star Wars co-star, and Harrison has now broken his silence on the subject.

When asked by GQ magazine what he thought about the book's contents, he said: "Oh, I don't know".

"I won't write anything that you don't want", was what Fisher told Ford.

While Ford answered the questions asked about Fisher, he managed to evade giving answers that would have fed the fancy of "Star Wars" fans, thanks to his terse and witty answers.

"It was so intense", she said.

So while we probably won't be getting any more details about the real-life Han and Leia hook-up, at least we'll always have Star Wars.

"I wouldn't have ambushed him like that, but it's still - no matter if I told him or not, it probably feels like an ambush", she continued. I can't imagine (they're not finished with me).
